According to an analyst, King Charles “won’t hand the throne to William

King Charles waited over 50 years to become king after Queen Elizabeth II died in 2022. Though his reign began recently, some have speculated he should step aside due to his cancer diagnosis, allowing Prince William to take the throne.

However, experts say abdication is unlikely. Charles trained for decades to lead and is reportedly reluctant to give up the crown after waiting so long. A royal source noted Charles accepted years ago that his reign might be short and is now considering whether stepping down would be honorable. He’s reportedly weaker and urged by doctors to slow down.

Meanwhile, Prince William has quietly taken on more royal duties. Though well-prepared, analysts say he’s not expected to become king anytime soon. William and Princess Catherine are preparing for future leadership but aren’t rushing to take the throne, according to royal expert Hilary Fordwich.
