It’s hard to imagine how anyone could harm such loyal animals as dogs. During a major rescue by the Humane Society, over 350 abused dogs were saved from fighting farms—including Timmy Cooper, an 8-week-old puppy facing a life of violence.

Terrified and scarred, Timmy was brought to a shelter where patient volunteers showed him love and care. At first, he was afraid of people, but slowly, Timmy began to trust again. His tail started to wag, and soon he became a joyful, affectionate pup—especially around kids.

After a long legal process, Timmy was adopted by a young couple expecting their first child. In their home, he finally found peace, safety, and unconditional love.
