Starving Stray Reduced to Skin and Bones Was Caught Eating Cow Dung to Survive
In a rural area where farmers often leave cow dung along the edges of fields to use as fertilizer, a heartbreaking scene unfolded.
A stray dog, thin to the point of looking skeletal, was seen rummaging through the piles and trying to eat the dried waste just to stay alive.

Every bite was a struggle, his body weak and worn down by hunger.
A passerby, shocked by the sight, quickly offered food and called a rescue team. When they arrived, the dog was still eating frantically.
His belly was completely sunken, with no fat left on his frame. No one could say how many days he had gone without food.

Though frightened at first, the dog didn’t show aggression. After a few gentle pats, he allowed the rescuers to help him and followed them without resistance.
At the hospital, the vet confirmed the dog was dangerously malnourished and suffering from severe anemia. The long-term starvation had even caused some of his teeth to fall out.

The team immediately began giving him fluids, nutrients, and blood transfusions to stabilize his condition.
After hours of care, he was released into the hands of the rescue team, who took him to a safe and loving environment.
Now, with proper food and attention, he’s starting a new chapter. From this point on, he will never face hunger or desperation again.
